Dozens of Yemeni children injured in bomb remnants of coalition

SANAA, Sept. 24 (YPA) – About 115 children have been injured since the beginning of the UN military and humanitarian truce due to bombs remnants left by the Saudi-led coalition in Jawf province.

Director of the Executive Center for Mine Action, Brigadier General Ali Safra, clarified that Jawf province is classified the second place after Hodeida, which is contaminated with the remnants of the coalition, including mines and cluster bombs.

Brigadier Safra affirmed that the coalition’s refusal to allow the entry of remnants detectors into the area impedes the clearance of mine-contaminated areas.

He held the United Nations responsible for the continued casualties of the coalition’s remnants of war due to its ignoring the necessity of entering mine detection materials.
