3rd conference on Cardiology, Diabetes to launch in Sanaa
SANAA, Aug. 23 (YPA) – The work of the third scientific conference on heart diseases and diabetes will be launched in Sanaa on Thursday, organized by the Republican Teaching Hospital Authority in Amanat Al-Asimah.
Head of the scientific committee of the conference, Dr. Abdul Wasaa Al-Mujahid, explained that the two-day conference would discuss, with the participation of more than 40 speakers and the head of the heart and diabetes consultants session from different provinces, working papers that shed light on the latest developments in cardiovascular diseases, catheters and diabetes.
He pointed out the importance of holding the conference on cardiology, as it is one of the rare specialties, which requires expansion, review of the latest findings in medical and scientific research, and strengthening the capabilities of the medical staff in teaching and training work in this field.
Dr. Al-Mujahid stated that the conference, which comes within the framework of the comprehensive national vision, aims to develop and rehabilitate the scientific and academic side of all working cadres by activating conferences and scientific days that resonate with increasing and refining the medical workers’experiences.
He stressed that the scientific conference comes within the framework of implementing the comprehensive quality policies adopted by the authority’s presidency at the beginning of the new Hijri year 1444, in all medical and technical fields.
