WORLD, Aug. 23 (YPA) – Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Bamako, the capital of Mali, on Tuesday morning.
He was welcomed by Mali’s Foreign Minister Abdullah Diop.
In the same context, Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said during his weekly press conference yesterday that the visit of Amir Abdollahian to the Republic of Mali comes at the official invitation of his counterpart in this country.
The Iranian Foreign Minister headed a political and economic delegation, he stated.
Kanaani added that expanding relations between Iran and African countries has always been one of our priorities, pointing out that the African tour of the Foreign Minister will include Mali, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
