Dozens of Saudi military vehicles leave Al-Wadea towards Yemeni territories

HADRAMOUT, Aug. 19 (YPA) – Dozens of military and armored vehicles left the Al-Wadea border crossing with Saudi Arabia and headed to the Yemeni territory, according to well-informed sources.

The sources explained that Saudi armored vehicles and combat vehicles headed towards the Al-Abbr road, without specifying their next destination, as confrontations intensified between the UAE-backed militia and Saudi-backed Islah militants before they were recently abandoned in Shabwa province.

According to reports, Saudi Arabia has intercepted the military advance of the “Al-Amaliqa”   forces towards the oil fields in Al-Uqlah, 90 km north of the city of Ataq, Shabwa provincial capital, which has  been witnessing  confrontations with Islah militants since the past two weeks.

Saudi Arabia is trying to keep the Al-Uqlah oil fields under its control under the leadership of Ali Dharman, a loyalist of Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar.

On the other hand, informed sources reported that the Al-Amaliqa elements launched an artillery shelling targeting several villages near the center of Jardan district.
