STC militias detain player of junior national team in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 14 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias detained on Sunday one of Yemeni junior national team and prevented him from entering Aden city, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources indicated that elements of security-belt militiamen detained the player Said Al-Awlaqi in Al-Alam checkpoint in east of Aden while coming from Shabwa province, investigating
him and preventing him from entering the city.

The sources affirmed that the player declared for the militants that he is about to join the junior team that is preparing to leave for the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
