Rain of varying intensity expected within coming hours

SANAA, Aug. 13 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has expected the rain of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, on most Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The center said in its weather forecast warned citizens in the provinces where rain expected to be in the valleys and water ways as a result of rainfall, as well as rockslides on mountain roads.

It pointed to severe monsoon winds with speeds ranging between 25-50 knots in the Socotra Archipelago and 15-30 knots in the Gulf of Aden and the eastern and southern coasts.
