Children drowned to death in Ibb

IBB, July. 11 (YPA) – Two children died after they drowned on Monday in one of the open ponds in the district of Al Udayn in Ibb province, central Yemen.

The two deceased children are “Hamza Shaja Al-Shukri” and “Burhan Abdul-Ilah Ahmed Al-Shukri”, who are cousins, and that grief and shock engulfed the district, local sources said.

This incident came weeks after the death of three sisters who drowned in an open pool in the village of “Al-Nujud” in the isolation of Bani Mubariz in Al-Qafr district in the same province.
