Army spokesman: Coalition attack on western coast was suicide
SANAA, June 22 (YPA) – Yemeni army spokesman Sharaf Luqman said on Friday Hodeidah airport was 100 percent secure by the controlling of the army.
“The so-called brigade of Amaliqa “giant” is now under siege by the army at a distance of 6 Km from Hodeidah airport,” Luqman said.
He confirmed in an interview with pan-Arab satellite television channel Al Mayadeen that the battle is almost settled in the Western Coast, calling on “Amaliqa” gunmen to surrender.
Luqman described the coalition adventure on the Western Coast as a suicide, stressing that developments on the ground are under control.
