Pro-coalition military commander killed in Bayda

BAYDA, June 22 (YPA) – A military commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition was killed on Thursday by Yemeni army fire in Bayda province.

The killing of Ahmed Saleh al-Aqeli, commander of the so-called the 153th Brigade, is a strong blow to the Saudi-led coalition and the pro-coalition forces of Islah party in Marib province.

Al-Aqeli was appointed by the coalition forces in Marib Front, but he moved to Nata front of Bayda province, where he was killed during Thursday clashes between remnants of the coalition mercenaries and the Yemeni army forces.
