Yemeni army secures strategic sites in western coast front

HODEIDAH, June 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces on Thursday secured strategic locations in the western coast front after confrontations with Saudi-led coalition troops, according to a military source.

Al-Mashyakhi village located between al-Mujaylees and al-Jah areas was secured, the source told Al-Masira Satellite channel.

Dozens of the coalition troops were killed and injured, a military vehicle was destroyed, and two vehicles and weapons were seized by the army fighters during the operation, he added.

Earlier the day, an intelligence operation targeted Hussein al-Bokhami, staff officer of the so-called the second Tihama brigade loyal to the coalition, who is one of those involved in the torture of prisoners from the army and the popular committees, according to a military source.

The operation led to the killing of al-Bokhami along with several of his escorts, while he was passing along the western coast, the source added.
