Al-Nakhala: Iran stands by the Palestinian people and resistance

SANAA, Jun. 04 (YPA) – Ziad Al-Nakhala, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine has said that Iran stands by the Palestinian people and resistance.

Speaking on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s departure, Al-Nakhala noted that “the Islamic Revolution has given courage to others to resist the Israeli occupation.”

“Imam Khomeini gave his renaissance and presence meaning to the life of Muslims, everywhere in the world, where before his rise and revolution they were hiding in the catacombs of oblivion, giving them hope that change was not only possible, but also inevitable,” he said.

“He has liberated Muslims and the vulnerable from the horror of the great powers, a sword that has been hanging over our necks for decades, and is trying to be conjured up by the defeated today, every day,” he said.

“The imam has affirmed with his revolution that the great colonial powers can be broken, can retreat, and can be defeated, if we are free from their alienation and dependency, and if we have our free will, and we send them with faith and action, effective and strong,” he explained.

“The  Imam Khomeini has become a great symbol of all the men who make history, and his revolution will continue to carry deeper dimensions,” he added.
