Military group kidnaps son of prominent journalist in Taiz

TAIZ, Jun. 03 (YPA) – The prominent journalist and media figure, Tawfiq Agha, said on Friday that a military patrol had kidnapped his son from the center of Taiz city, and that his son fate is unknown until now.

Agha explained that at eight o’clock yesterday evening, Thursday, June 2, 2022, he was informed by one of his relatives that a military squad at the 26th Street had stopped and took his son Marwan Tawfiq Hassan Agha.

He added that after being informed of this, he moved to several security and military agencies to search for his son, and that everyone told him that no person with this name was being held by them.

Journalist Tawfiq Agha held the governor of Taiz province and the police director fully responsible for any arbitrary measures that might happen to his son, as the kidnapping case is well known to everyone.
