SANAA, May 30 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology announced on Monday a dust wave would sweep several Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.
The center expected in its weather bulletin Monday, that rain of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, would continue in separate areas of the western mountainous highland chain, especially on the provinces of Taiz, Ibb, Raymah and parts of Lahj, Dhalea, Mahweet and Hajjah, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout.
It also expected warm and dry weather on the desert areas and the interior hills, where maximum temperatures ranged between 38-42 degrees Celsius, 34-37 degrees Celsius on Socotra province.
The center indicated that the weather might be relatively dusty in the coastal areas in general and the deserts of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Jawf, Saada and Marib.
It warned citizens in areas where rain expected to be in water ways, as well as drivers on roads and mountain slopes, from low horizontal visibility due to rain and low clouds.
