SANAA, May 29 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has expected the scattered rain would prevail over the mountainous heights in several areas of Yemen during the next 24 hours.
The center indicated in its weather bulletin on Sunday that rains of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, would fall on the western mountain range of the provinces of Saada, Sanaa, Hajjah, Mahweet, Ibb, Raymah, Taiz, Lahj, Dhalea, Shabwa, Abyan and Bayda.
It pointed out that the weather might be hot, dry and relatively dusty in the deserts of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Marib, Jawf and Saada, where temperatures ranging between 38-42 degrees Celsius.
The center warned citizens in areas where rain expected to avoid being in water ways, as well as motorists driver carefully s on roads and mountain slopes.
