President Al-Mashat stresses need to implement of Revolution Leader’s directives on Awqaf

SANAA, May 21 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Saturday stressed the need to implement the directives of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, which were contained in his speech at the opening of the first national conference for Awqaf.

In the editorial of Al-Thawra newspaper in its issue today, President Al-Mashat expressed the hope from the media and cultural side, preachers, guides and educational authorities to translate these important contents in practical, supportive steps for the General Authority for Awqaf.

He said, “We emphasize the outcomes of the first national conference for Awqaf, and we congratulate the General Authority for Awqaf for the great achievement it has achieved during the short period since its establishment.”

President Al-Mashat praised all the projects launched by the Awqaf Authority during the last period, which benefited hundreds of thousands of poor and needy people.

He called on the General Authority for Awqaf to prepare a rental policy that takes into account the poor and the needy.

President Al-Mashat urged the Ministry of Interior, the Judiciary and all relevant official bodies to support the Awqaf Authority in its efforts to restore the endowment to its right track and its important social, humanitarian and charitable role.
