SANAA, May 21 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has expected a clear weather to prevail over most Yemeni provinces during the next 24 hours.
The center said in its weather bulletin on Saturday, that pieces of convective clouds, accompanied by scattered light rain, would form on parts of the mountainous heights of the provinces of Rayma, Ibb, and Taiz.
It pointed out that the weather in the coastal areas would be generally clear, relatively dusty, humid and hot, with maximum temperatures ranging between 34-40 degrees Celsius on the coasts and coastal plains, and moderate winds with a maximum speed of 18 knots.
The center stated that the weather in the Socotra archipelago might be partly cloudy, with scattered light rains, and moderate winds to be its speed of 20 knots.
It warned citizens, especially the patients, children and the elderly, in the aforementioned provinces not to be directly exposed to dust wave.
