Hodeida authority condemns targeting Al-Qataba mosque by coalition

HODEIDA, May 19 (YPA) – The local authority in Al-Khoukha district of Hodeida province condemned targeting Al-Qataba ancient mosque by the militants belonging to the Saudi-led coalition forces, in the district.

In a statement, the authority held the coalition forces full responsible for targeting mosques and historical monuments mosque, which is 7 kilometers from the center of the district.
The statement explained that the militants, backed by the Culture Office of the coalition, completely destroyed the roof and the back of the mosque, as a first stage to replace it with a new building.

It called on all international organizations, led by UNESCO, to condemn this criminal act and to stop the coalition forces’ tampering with ancient mosques, shrines, domes and historical monuments on the western coast.
