Sessions of first national conference of Awqaf launched in Sanaa

SANAA, May 17 (YPA) – The sessions of the first national conference of Awqaf, organized in Sanaa by the General Authority of Endowments, began on Tuesday under the slogan “Together towards the strategic transformation of Awqaf work.”

The first and second sessions of the conference dealt with the first axis, which is entitled “The Awqaf between Religious Responsibility and Practical Reality”.

The first session reviewed four worksheets, while the second session reviewed five worksheets, within the framework of the first axis.

The two sessions of the conference included interventions and extensive discussion by a number of participants, focusing on the mechanisms of liberating the endowment from the influential and the looters, and the ways to invest the endowment funds in the educational and research field.
