Fire erupts at oil refinery north of capital Sanaa

SANAA, April 13 (YPA) – A huge fire broke out at dawn of Wednesday inside an oil plant north of the capital Sanaa, local source said.

According to the source, a fire broke out at an oil refinery used in al-Rahba area of Bani al-Harith directorate, which came to all its contents, before the Civil Defense could put the fire  out.

The cause of the fire, which caused no casualties, still not known yet, but preliminary investigations indicate that it was caused by a lack of compliance with security and safety procedures.
