SANAA, March 24 (YPA) – The security services has dismantled more than 100 cells belonging to the Saudi-led coalition within seven years.
Deputy Interior Minister Major General Abdul Majeed Al-Mortada said that the security services have made great achievements in controlling crime and confronting the coalition’s plans.
Al-Mortada told Al Masirah TV that the association of “Al-Qaeda” with the coalition was clearly evident through the support of the coalition’s warplanes to these elements during the purge of their strongholds in Bayda province.
He stated that the coalition had repeatedly tried to target popular events throughout the provinces, and these attempts were thwarted through the vigilance of the security services.
More than 4,500 to 5,000 soldiers from the security establishment have been sacrificed their lives to prevent explosions targeting civilians, Al-Mortada added.
