3 Palestinians injured in clashes with Israeli occupation forces in Beit Liqya

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, March 24 (YPA) – At least Three Palestinian citizens, including a child, were wounded by Israeli occupation gunfire during clashes in the town of Beit Ula, southwest of Ramallah.

According to local sources, the so-called Zionist special forces stormed Beit Liqya and arrested one citizen, following a raid on a shop he owned to cut off cars.

According to eyewitnesses, the Israel occupation army prevented ambulances from reaching the town to transport the wounded.

Ambulances were able to take one of the injured youths to hospital.

Israeli soldiers climbed up to the roofs of houses as they stormed a house to target young men with rubber-coated metal bullets and gas bombs, which resulted the injury of three citizens in including a child .

The occupation authorities are targeting the village of Beit Liqya through building new settlements and  judaization. Two years ago, they looted 150 dunums of citizens’ land from the south side adjacent to the apartheid wall.

The occupation is looting the entire village of Beit Liqya to make it one of the designated areas (c) in accordance with the annexation plan (looting).
