Russia launches powerful hypersonic missiles in Ukraine

SANAA, March 20 (YPA) – Russia announced on Sunday its armed forces used hypersonic missiles during its military operation in Ukraine.

During his briefing, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman, Igor Konashenkov, said that the Kalibr and Kinzhal hypersonic missiles had been fired at targets in Ukraine.

He affirmed that missiles targeted and destroying a large warehouse for storing fuel and lubricants belonging to the Ukrainian army in the vicinity of the town of Kostyantynivka in Mykolaiv Province in southern Ukraine.

Konashenkov stated that the depot was used to organize the main fuel supply to Ukrainian armored vehicles in the combat zones of the south of the country.
