President Al-Mashat hails security services’ role in thwarting coalition plans

SANAA, March 19 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Saturday hailed the successive successes achieved by the security services in thwarting the Saudi-led coalition plans, controlling crime and enhancing security and stability.

This came during his meeting with Minister of Interior, Major General Abdulkarim al-Houthi, and Chief of the Security and Intelligence Service, Major General Abdulhakim al-Khaiwani.

President Al-Mashat directed the Interior Ministry and the Security and Intelligence Service to redouble their efforts and strike with an iron fist against anyone who tries to tamper with the security of the homeland.

He stressed that “the stage the country is going through requires concerted efforts and enhanced coordination between the various security services to thwart the aggression scheme and protect the home front.”

The meeting discussed the performance of the security services and their plans for the coming period, and their efforts in exposing the plans of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition, which were aimed at destabilizing the security and stability in the capital Sanaa and several provinces.
