“Shabwa Defense” forces arrive in Ataq city

SHABWA, March 02 (YPA) – Southern media reported on Wednesday that the third brigade forces of the so-called “Shabwa Defense” loyal to the UAE arrived in Ataq city, the capital of Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.

The “Shabwa Defense” forces were assigned to secure Baihan and Usailan districts.

The name of a number of the the UAE-backed “Shabwani Elite” forces was transferred to the Shabwa Defense forces.
