Two Syrian military personnel killed in QSD militia attack in Hasaka countryside

HASAKA, March 02 (YPA) – At least one Syrian army officer and one solider were killed on Tuesday in an attack by US occupation backed QSD militiamen on a checkpoint of the Syrian Arab Army in Tal Tamer area in the northwestern countryside of Hasaka, Syrian Arab News Agency reported, citing a military source.

According to the military sources, at nearly 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, a patrol of US occupation, accompanied by a group of QSD militiamen, attempted to enter through points of the Syrian army in Ghouzalya village of Tal Tamer countryside in Haska.

“Members of the Syrian Arab army prevented the US occupation patrol from penetrating through the points and forced it to leave, later, QSD militiamen attacked the mentioned site with fires of machineguns and mortars, leading to the martyrdom of two soldiers, one of them was an officer,” the source added.

He  said that army units responded to the source of fires, injuring several militants of QSD militia.
