Marib tribes denounce Islah militia’s heinous crime against kidnapped prisoners

MARIB, Feb. 24 (YPA) – Murad and al-Jouba tribes of Marib province denounced on Thursday the heinous crime committed by the Saudi-backed Islah militia by torturing and killing one of their kidnapped prisoners in the Saudi-led coalition prisons in the city of Marib.

In a statement, made by a prominent tribal sheikh of Murad, “Sultan Toaiz”, expressed on a “Facebook”, his deep regret over the oppression and torture of the members of his Murad tribe who are in the occupied areas of the city of Marib and inside the prisons of the coalition forces.

Sheikh Toaiz explained that most sons of al-Jouba tribes displaced to the city of Marib are subjected to forced kidnapping and torture to death in the prisons of the coalition, while those who displaced to the capital, Sanaa, live a decent life.

He stressed that he had previously warned all residents of al-Jouba not to flee to the Islah militia-held areas and the coalition.

This came one day after the murder of the kidnapped citizen, Abdullah Ali Saeed Qaran, from the al-Jouba district, under torture in the prisons of the coalition forces in the city.
