Violent explosions rock Marib city

MARIB, Feb. 20 (YPA) – Violent explosions rocked Marib city, eastern Yemen, early Sunday, coinciding with the intensification of battles between tribes and factions loyal to Saudi-led coalition in the vicinity of the city.

According to tribal sources, the explosions resounded in separate areas of the city, and some of them occurred inside military camps and barracks.

It was not yet clear who was behind the attack.

The city of Marib has been witnessing violent battles since Saturday evening, after the Islah Party factions launched an attack on tribal militants in Al-Damashiqah area.
