SANAA, Feb. 14 (YPA) – The candidate for prime minister of the Libyan new government, Fathi Bashagha, confirmed that he would not run for the upcoming presidential elections.
For transparency and credibility, he said, “I explicitly renew my commitment not to run in the next presidential election.”
On Sunday night, Bashagha spoke to the Libyan people in a speech in which he drew his next policy lines.
“We have had 10 difficult years, we have suffered displacement, war, corruption and hatred all of us, and today we realized that we are wrong, believing that one of us is abolishing the other or one of us has the truth alone,” Bashagha said.
“Our value in our diversity , our strength in unity, and our destiny is the same and our future is the same and we can only live together in love and harmony,” he added
“Betrayal, atonement and bidding are destructive that do not build. Deception and fraud in the name of revolution and legitimacy are cheap tools used by some to fuel sedition and conflict,” Bachaga said.
