Local official shot in Mocha west of Taiz

TAIZ, Feb. 05 (YPA) – A local official came under fire in the UAE-controlled city of Mocha, west of Taiz province, on Saturday.

Local sources reported that a citizen prevented workers at “Abu Ismail” cemetery in Mocha from building the fence, and the endowments official in the city, Shehab Hazaa, tried to intervene but a gunman shot at him claiming that the construction works are on his property.

The sources added that the gunman fled, without causing any injuries to Hazza.
