Symposium on role of Yemeni women in confronting aggression held in Sanaa

SANAA, Feb. 02 (YPA) – A Symposium was held in the capital, Sanaa, on Tuesday, discussing the role of Yemeni women in confronting Saudi-led coalition aggression.

The Symposium was organized by Yemen Women Media Forum and presented four working papers

At the Symposium, the first one, presented by Akhlak Al-Shami, the Secretary General of The Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, entitled “The UAE between the bad lies and the panic of the Yemeni retaliation”, which addressed the role of the UAE in the aggression and the implementation of its ambitions in Yemen.

Al-Shami described the messages of the three “Yemen Hurricane” operations that targeted the Saudi-Emirati depths, as a wise to deter the aggression coalition, its crimes and violations against civilians and civilian objects.

In the second working paper, Sumaya al-Taifi, head of Intesaf Organization for Woman and Child Rights addressed the crimes of US-backed Saudi-Emirati coalition crimes.

She reviewed the numbers and statistics of the massacres committed by the Coalition during January in particular and the seven years of aggression in general.

In her turn, Amat Al-Malik al-khashabِ, media official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussed in the third paper the role of the media in exposing the crimes of aggression and highlighting the victories achieved by the heroes of the army and popular committees.

Meanwhile, Najla al-Jalal, head of Yemen Women Media Forum spoke in the fourth paper about the role of Yemeni women in the psychological and material support for the fighters and the role of Yemenis in supporting the poor families.

The Symposium congratulated the operations of the “Yemen Hurricane” in Saudi-Emirati depths.

It called on the international community and the United Nations to put pressure on the coalition to stop its crimes against civilians and to take legal and moral responsibility for the blockade and detention of oil, food and medicine vessels.
