Industry minister directs to establish Cyber Security Department

SANAA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – Minister of Commerce and Industry, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, directed on Thursday to establish a cyber-security’s department in the ministry in preparation for launching the electronic system and protecting the information base.

This came during his meeting to discuss completing the steps for the transition of work in the ministry through the electronic window system, which will start next Saturday, January 1, 2022.

At the meeting, Al-Durra stressed the need to meet the technical and technical requirements and the information base to launch the electronic system, complete and start issuing electronic cards in the departments of commercial companies and agencies.
