President Al-Mashat sends condolences to Iranian president on death of ambassador Hassan Irlu

SANAA, Dec. 23 (YPA) – Mahdi al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council sent a cable of condolences to Ibrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the death of Iran’s Ambassador to Yemen, Hassan Irlu.

In the cable, President Al-Mashat praised Irlu’s noble positions, as he was an example of the ambassador dedicated to his work and diplomacy aimed at improving  the relationship between the two countries.

“The Ambassador and diplomat Hassan Irlu  has taken the trouble and dangers caused by Saudi-led aggression and blockade of Yemen to convey the cause of the Yemeni oppressed people, alleviate their suffering and develop the relationship between the two countries,” Al-Mashat said.

“The delay of the US-backed Saudi-led aggression in allowing him to be flown from Sana’a airport led to his death to become a martyr of the unjust US blockade imposed on Yemen,” he added.

He expressed his deepest condolences and sympathy to the  Iranian people and to his family , wishing from Allah Almighty to bestow the descent mercy and forgiveness and to inspire his family and relatives patience and solace.
