US-Led Strike Kills 12 Civilians in Syria’s Hasakah
SANAA, June 12 (YPA) – At least 12 civilians of the same family on Tuesday when the US-led coalition carried out an airstrike against Syria’s northeastern province of Hasakah, the Syrian news agency SANA said.
It reported that the aerial attack targeted Tal al-Shayer village, located in the southeastern countryside of Hasakah, on Tuesday.
On Monday, the US-led warplanes carried out similar strikes on Hasakah, killing 18 internally deplaced persons (IDPs), who escaped from Daesh crimes in Khouibrah village near al-Shaddadi town in the southern part of the province.
Last week, 10 other civilians, including women and children were killed on Tuesday when the coalition hit civilians’ houses in Jaza village in the southern rural areas of Shaddadi.
The US-led coalition has been conducting airstrikes against what are said to be Daesh targets inside Syria since September 2014 without any authorization from the Damascus government or a UN mandate.
