Pro-coalition commander killed in west of Taiz

TAIZ, Dec. 06 (YPA) – A field commander of militia backed by the Saudi-led coalition was killed by the fire of Yemeni army and popular committees in west of Taiz province on Monday.

An informed source confirmed that the field commander of the so-called “Al-Amaliqa brigades”, Hakim Hoon, was killed along with a number of his escorts by a mortar shell targeted them on Maqbna front.

The source indicated that the army launched a combing and purging operation in a number of western areas of the Maqbna areas controlled by the coalition militants, inflicting them heavy losses in equipment and lives.
