Shura Council strongly condemns execution of ten prisoners on western coast

SANAA, Nov. 16 (YPA) – The Shura Council condemned on Tuesday in the strongest terms the heinous crime committed by the Saudi-led coalition forces against ten prisoners of the army and the popular committees by firing them on the western coast front.

In a statement issued today, the Shura Council denounced these inhumane practices against the prisoners, which contradict all religious and humanitarian norms and values, international charters and the Third Geneva Convention on prisoners.

The statement considered this heinous crime a clear evidence of the moral bankruptcy of the Saudi-led coalition and its mercenaries, and revealed the extent of their hatred against the Yemeni people.

The Council criticized the shameful silence of the United Nations and the Security Council on all the crimes committed against the Yemeni people.
