Maj. Gen. Al-Mushki meets with UNMHA head in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Nov. 16 (YPA) – Head of the National Redeployment Team in Hodeida, Maj. Gen. Ali Hammoud Al-Mushki, met on Tuesday in Hodeida with Deputy Head for the United Nations Mission to support the Hudaydah Agreement(UNMHA).

In the meeting, Al-Mushki stressed the need to clear the streets of the city of Hodeida and its districts from the remnants of mines and bombs being planted by the Saudi-led coalition forces.

The national team called on the United Nations to support the maintenance and restoration of Hodeida port and to provide all the necessary equipment.

The officials were briefed on the extent of the damage and the dangerous pollution in the area of Kilo 16 of the quantity of mines that left by the other side.

The mines, cluster bombs and the remnants of the coalition air strikes are considered a disaster and deferred killing facing the sons of Hodeida and the Yemeni people in most areas.
