Industry Minister stresses importance of achieving balance between merchant, citizen

SANAA, Oct. 23 (YPA) – Minister of Industry and Trade, Abdul-Wahhab Yahya Al-Durra, stressed the importance of creating a balance between the interests of the merchant and the citizen.

This came during a meeting to the Committee for Calculating Costs and Coordination between the Ministry.

Al-Durra indicated that his Ministry would work to encourage competition between the commercial sector and provide the necessary facilities, to ensure consumers’ needs with quality, specifications and appropriate prices.

He praised the role of the national private sector in supporting the efforts of the government to reduce the negative effects of the aggression and siege on the lives of citizens.

The minister appreciated the support provided by President of the Supreme Political Council and Prime Minister of the Salvation Government in providing all facilities to the private and commercial sector.
