SANAA, Oct. 07 (YPA) – A strong earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale hit southern Pakistan overnight.
According to local media, the earthquake caused significant damage.
About 15 to 20 people were killed as an initial death toll in the devastating earthquake, AFP quoted officials as saying.
The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center confirmed that the quake occurred at 22:01 p.m. Wednesday, 08:7 GMT.
The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers at a latitude of (30.20) north and a longitude of (68.06) east, and 16 kilometers northeast of Harnay.
