STC deploys its forces in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 05 (YPA) – Dozens of military vehicles and armored vehicles belonging to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias were suddenly deployed on Tuesday in most of the streets of the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

Local sources said that the “Eighth Brigade” militia of the STC had deployed aboard military vehicles in Sheikh Othman district.

According to the sources, armed tensions erupted between the leaders of the STC, and the commander of Maj. Gen. Akram al-Mashreqi, pointing out that the Sheikh Othman area is heading towards the armed explosion, similar to the confrontations that took place in Crater city between the elements of the Saudi-funded Imam al-Nubi and the “STC” militia earlier this week.

Meanwhile, the “STC” activists on social media accused the leader Akram Al-Mashreqi and Yusran Al-Maqtari of plotting against Aden, according to regional campaigns.
