ADEN, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Across the southern port city of Aden, the petrol and diesel price increased to an unprecedented levels, local sources said on Wednesday.
The sources said that gasoline prices reached 22,000 on the black market, the first time gasoline prices reached this figure in 30 years.
The sources added that the Hadi government and its petroleum company failed miserably in providing gasoline at reduced prices.
On Tuesday, government stations closed their doors in Aden until suppliers agreed on the new price, as well as the private stations closed their doors in a protest against rise in gasoline prices.
