SANAA, June 10 (YPA) – Southern leaders on Sunday threatened to pull its troops from the West Coast fronts and others Northern provinces, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
“Southern leaders demanded clear and public undertakings on the ground in Aden or the withdrawal of their troops from the northern fronts, “the sources said.
The sources stressed that “entering and controlling the Red Sea port of Hodeidah province before making clear commitments to resolve the southern issue to achieve independence would be a threat to the future of the South.”
“If Hodeidah becomes a shelter for the Hadi’s government, such as Marib, the trade will be diverted, and the City of Eden will be dispensed,” the sources added.
The same sources warned that the southern militias would stop fighting alongside with Saudi-led coalition forces if no clear commitments were made to the demands to return the southern state to the pre-unification era.
