Bank’s guard injured in Aden attack

ADEN, Sept. 20 (YPA) – A bank’s guard was injured on Monday in an armed attack in the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

According to sources, a militant of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) wearing a military uniform heavily opened fire at one of Al-Kuraimi Bank in Mansoura area, wounding the bank guard.

The sources confirmed that the “STC” elements prevented the money changers from working under the pretext of calling the Money Changers Association to strike, while the Al-Kuraimi Bank did not receive a notice of closure.

Al-Kuraimi Bank branch in Mansoura closed its doors to citizens, amid dozens of its customers.
