Taliban complete preparations to declare new government in Afghanistan

KABUL, Sept. 07 (YPA) – The Taliban have said that they have completed preparations for the  declaration of a new government in Afghanistan.

Preparations for the declaration of the Islamic government have been completed, the government will be announced soon, God willing, said Ahmadullah Muttaqi on Twitter

In the last 40 years of Afghanistan’s history, it will be the only government that will rule over the whole of Afghanistan, he added.

On August 15, the Taliban took control of the Afghan capital, Kabul, with a little resistance from the Afghan army.

after the Afghan states fell to the group and its fighters were able to enter the presidential palace in Kabul, President Ashraf Ghani fled to the UAE, which it said hosted him de to “humanitarian reasons” while Panjshir province, northeast of Kabul, remained the only state outside the group’s control.

The Taliban declared full control of Panjshir province north of Kabul, the last area of Afghanistan controlled by the resistance.
