Palestinian factions give mediators deadline to break siege of Gaza

SANAA, Sept. 07 (YPA) – Spokesman for the Palestinian Popular Resistance Committees, Abu Mujahid, confirmed that the national and Islamic action factions in the Gaza Strip have given mediators a deadline to breaking the “Israeli enemy siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.

“Palestine Today” agency quoted Abu Mujahid, in a news statement, on Monday as saying: The Committees in the Gaza Strip held a consultative meeting on following up efforts to break the Israeli siege imposed on the Strip.

He explained that the factions agreed in the meeting that the facilities recently announced by the Israeli side are “insufficient.”

Abu Mujahid stressed that a deadline was given to mediators until the middle of this month, to implement the measures to lift the siege imposed on Gaza and the repercussions of the “Sword of al-Quds battle” and its consequences.

He affirmed the Egyptian or Qatari mediators promised to continue the steps to lift the siege on the Gaza Strip and implement all the benefits that were agreed upon during the Battle of Sword of al-Quds.
