STC abducts young man in Aden

Aden, Aug. 24 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia has kidnapped a young man from Aden airport after his arrival from a European country and took him to a prison in the southern Yemeni port city.

This was reported by Yermrn News Portal, based in informed sources.

Sources said that the leader of the transitional forces Major Abdullah al-Jahafi, kidnapped the young Fahd Al-Riashi during his arrival in Aden in late July from Germany where he is studying, and hid him in a prison.

The  same sources added that the family of the young man searched for her son without finding him.

According to the sources, that security leaders of the STC intervened to search for the young man.

Their interference leads al-Jahafi to admit that he arrested Al-Riashi and justified his arrest by saying that he had a quarrel with his relative who is studying in Germany refusing to release him.

The incident reflects the security chaos in Aden, which has reached the exploitation of force with personal and superficial differences.
