Shabwa witnesses military deployment, security tension                                                  

SHABWA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Al-Saeed district in Shabwa province witnessed a military deployment and severe security tension against the background of the killing of son of a senior tribal sheikh, local sources reported on Friday.

Military and security forces arrived in Al-Saeed coming from Ataq city, the capital of the province, with the aim of controlling the security situation inside the district, the sources told the “Yemen Press Agency”.

The sources confirmed that the Al-Saeed district is witnessing a state of extreme tension after the killing of Kahlan, the son of sheikh Farid Abu Bakr bin Farid, the director general of the district.

The killing of bin Farid’s son came against the background of a dispute that erupted between the dead “Kahlan” and young men from “Al Nameer” and “Al Salem bin Daha,” the source explained.
