Iraq: 8 killed and 19 wounded in Daesh takfiri attack on funeral gathering

BAGHDAD, Jul. 31 (YPA) –  At least 8 people were killed and 19 others were  19 injured on Friday evening, as a result of a criminal attack carried out by Daesh takfiri members that targeted a funeral gathering in southern Salah al-Din Governorate in Iraq, a security source said .

Following the attack, Iraqi security forces with support from 41st Brigade forces  began combing the area in search of Takfiri members, he added.
