Yemeni Economic Corporation suspends its works in Aden after breaking into its offices

ADEN, Jul. 06 (YPA) -Officials in the Yemeni Economic Corporation  in Aden condemned the storming of the general administration building of the foundation by the so-called commander of the fourth military region in the “Hadi government” Major General Fadl Hassan al-Omari, and his armed groups .

During a protest organized by the Corporation’s staff, a statement was issued condemning the storming of the general administration of the institution in Aden, on July 4, 2021, by armed groups led by “Hassan al-Omari”.

They broke down of the doors of the offices, accounts and the room of surveillance cameras as well as the servers illegally and barbarically, the statement read.

The statement noted that this barbaric and illegal act comes after the general administration of the institution refused to deal with the decision of the Governor of Aden Ahmed Lamlis.

Lamlis appointed new director of the branch of the corporation in Aden, which is illegal, and blatant interference in the powers and functions of the management of the Yemeni Economic Institution, the statement explained.

The statement held the assailants  responsible for disrupting and vandalizing the work of the institution,

It stressed that the legal right of the Corporation will be retained against such barbaric acts.
