SANAA, Jun. 26 (YPA) Minister of Interior, Abdul Karim Amir Al-Houthi, directed on Saturday the formation of a special committee to receive citizens’ complaints regarding violations of police stations in the capital and the other provinces.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry, the formation of the committee comes at a call issued by member of the Supreme Political Council, head of the justice system, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, to the Minister of Interior, to form a committee to receive citizens’ grievances against police station employees.
The Ministry called on all the complainants in the capital to deliver their complaints hand in hand, stressing that it will not accept any complaint without the presence of the complainant and his evidence.
The statement also called on citizens to investigate the accuracy and honesty in the complaints they submitted to the security men, and that it will take legal measures against any malicious complaint.
