HASAKA, Jun. 22 (YPA) – A Syrian child was killed and two others were injured on Monday as a result of a landmine explosion in Ras al-Ain area in Hasaka countryside, which is controlled by the Turkish forces and mercenaries.
Syrian News Agency (SANA) quoted local sources as saying: “A landmine exploded on the outskirts of Al-Alia village, south of Ras Al-Ain city, which is witnessing fighting between mercenaries of the Turkish occupation, causing the death of a child and wounding two others.”
The sources indicated that the terrorist groups deliberately planted mines in agricultural lands and roads in the area in an attempt to prevent any attacks on their headquarters, in light of the escalation of popular tension against “the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.”
